We have consulted you, the parents and guardians, the kids, our staff and the school community to see what you think of how we handle bullying in our school. We've then designed our new anti bullying policy, following the new National antibullying or 'Bí Cineálta' guidelines. Our Board of Management approved the policy at our meeting on June 12th and it will be in effect from August 26th, when we return to school.

Did you know that 'Bí Cineálta' translates to 'Be Kind' ? You can find the adult version of the policy in our policy section but we'd like to share our child friendly version here.
This is the version that is on display in our school to ensure that all children know about our policy and what to do if they feel someone is bullying them. We are also a KIVA school so will be educating your children on what bullying is and what it is not and what to do if they think they are being bullied!!
