Science Week
November 2018
This week is Junior Science Week. The boys really enjoyed carrying out experiments and playing science games. Take a look at some of our photos from the week.
Aistear Room
November 2018
Our school got a new Aistear Room this year. There are five areas in the Aistear Room - Role Play Area, Small-World Area, Construction Area, Junk Art Area and Messy Play Area. There is a different theme in Aistear every month. The theme this month is 'School'. The boys are really enjoying the different areas and they are working very well together.
Halloween
October 2018
Happy Halloween! The boys dressed up in Halloween costumes before the Mid-Term break. They had lots of fun playing Halloween games and making chocolate apples. We first talked about the steps involved in making chocolate apples. The boys really enjoyed watching the chocolate melt and putting sprinkles on top of the chocolate apples. We hope you all have a nice Halloween break!
Nature Walk

The Junior Infants took part in a school sponsored walk this week.
Maths Week

Maths Week took place from 15th-19th October. The Junior Infants enjoyed taking part in many Maths games and activities.
