- To provide information that is relevant and age-appropriate.
- To promote personal hygiene and health safety.
- To develop language, skills and coping strategies for dealing with emotions and difficult situations.

- To develop awareness and understanding of different relationships and their roles in the childrens lives.
- To develop a sense of self-esteem and self-awareness in each child.
- To promote a sense of the wonder of new life.
- To develop an awareness of the value and importance of choices that the children will make in their lives.
